Below you will find a cross section of restaurants in and around Ermelo, ranging from snackbars to the two star acclaimed restaurant ‘t Nonnetje. This list is by no means complete. There are many more restaurants in the area. Many restaurants allow dogs, but not all. Be sure to check before you go.

Restaurant/Brasserie “De Ruif” is located in the main building on the premises of KNHS.
Brasserie De Ruif is open from 9:00 to 19:00. You are welcome for a delicious cup of coffee and a freshly baked stuffed cake. A lunch buffet is prepared between 12:00 and 13:00. After 13:00 there is of course a hot cup of soup and possibly a sandwich. During events, the range is more extensive, look at the chalkboards in the Brasserie.

Prices start from € 17,50 for a 3 course meal (excluding drinks).

“The Terrace” for a nice relaxing coffee. Have lunch or enjoy a warm bite. From our kitchen we serve various delicious lunches and meals. We have an extensive menu with lots of sandwiches, fries, snacks and plates. “The Terrace” stands for quality and taste, so you will find the best products with us, like the famous “farmers meatball”. In short, good food in the beautiful surroundings of Ermelo.

Restaurant Uddelermeer (2 Km)

In June 1923 a new expansion was opened at Uddelermeer, named “Theehuis Uddelermeer”. The Tea House was the property of the Royal Family. During the second world war, Theehuis Uddelermeer burned down completely. In 1947 the Tea House Uddelermeer was rebuild and in 1953 the restaurant was added. Due to the beautiful surroundings, the natural swimming pool and the possibility of camping on the Hunneschans, Restaurant/Tea House Uddelermeer, earned a huge fame. Uddelermeer is still owned by the Royal Family to this day.
To date, the current owners Matthijs and Hanneke Edink, are very keen on continuing the reputation of the restaurant. Personal attention, hospitality, atmosphere, excellent price/quality and regular recurring culinary themes are the keys to its success.

Here you feel right at home, even if you’re out. Cozy and comfortable, that’s the atmosphere! Coupled with excellent cuisine. You can enjoy indoors or outdoors or in the conservatory. And every day he lets his fantasy run free, so feel free to be surprised. During lunch, try out our award winning “uitsmijter” from owner Arthur Vos (“uitsmijter” is fried eggs). With this recipe, Arthur won the NK Baker Award. In our restaurant you can admire the Cup. Our kitchen uses regional products and cooks to seasonal preferences. Located in the old city-centre of Harderwijk on the scenic Fish Market behind the boulevard. An intimate, pleasant restaurant with a modern French-international cuisine. In a relaxed atmosphere, owner and host Robert-Jan Nijland, SVH master chef Michel van der Kroft and his brigade, enchant guests from home and abroad with a cooking style in which original dishes are central to the “Temptation” menu, the “Temptation Botanica” menu or Michel’s “Master Chef” Menu.

This restaurant has 2 michelin stars.

Pannekoekenhuis De Huifkar (13.5 Km)

Yes, that’s right, in Holland we eat pancakes for dinner! Big ones, both with sweet topping or with savory ingredients like bacon/cheese, mushrooms/meat etc. Or sweet with walnuts and honey, or apple/raisons or basic Dutch version: plain with molasses. Don’t forget to try a plate of ‘poffertjes’ with butter and powdered sugar!

Japanese Restaurant “Japas” (12 Km)

Sushi-time! Modern restaurant with a Japanese feel; open kitchen, sake, great sushi-an grill specialties! Yum. Both small parties and big parties are welcome. Over 100 ‘bites’ to choose from. Dinner at Japas is 5 rounds in which you choose 3-4 different specialties per round. Prices are about € 27,00 per person (excluding drinks).

Pizzeria Ristorante “Italia” (12.5 Km)

At the age of 17, owner Pasquale Madeo left from Longobucco province of Calabria in southern Italy to Germany, to work there in an Italian restaurant. 4 years later he came to the Netherlands to refine his cooking in various Italian restaurants. In 1992, Pasquale took the step of starting for himself in Doetinchem. Soon there was a second restaurant in Loenen aan de Vecht. At the end of 1995 both restaurants were sold and he started the current restaurant in Ermelo. Since 1996 he has been preparing the dishes at Ristorante Pizzeria Italia together with his Italian kitchen brigade. From pasta and pizza to the most refined meat and fish dishes. In addition to the dishes on the menu, Pasquale always has a number of specialties. Please feel free to ask.

Greek Restaurant “Akropolis” (12 Km)

As soon as the weather permits, the terrace opens in the rear of the restaurant. The terrace offers room for about 85 people, and can optionally be heated with heaters to make it pleasant to spend the evening. The terrace is child-friendly and is lockable. This allows children to play safely without traffic under your own supervision after eating while still enjoying your aperitif.

Good prices, but bank cards are not accepted.
